Cars have been a big part of my families life. We have always had at least 1 muscle car in the family and most of the time many.
I was brought up with Mopars in the driveway in my teens. This is the brand I own and choose to follow. I admire and respect many other muscle cars and would have a barn full of all brands if I had the means to do it.
Who doesn't like a Vette or a Mustang? How about a 55-57 Chevy? I would like to have an old 55 Gasser. How about a Willys? Wow. I saw two bad ass 40 Willy's at the Woodward Dream Cruise this year traveling together. You could hear them coming for blocks away. This is over all the other muscle that was bumper to bumper. Way cool rides.
I have decided to put my time and energy into writing and documenting my passion for all things muscle car. I hope you enjoy the site and maybe even contribute. Start your own blog here. Once again we welcome all brands. So don't be shy because I am a Mopar owner. I do love horsepower and can't get enough of it!

I had an Uncle that had a 1969 Mercury Cougar with a 428 cu. in monster. The engine bay was so packed, even changing spark plugs was a chore.
My Dad had 2-69 GTO's at one time. One was a stock 400 with an auto. He also had a black beauty with a 400 with dual 4 barrel carbs, a 3/4 race cam (remember that time period? It was either 3/4 or full race cams back then), 4 speed transmission and some stout gears. I remember we washed the car once and the blow drying it with some serious speed. The speedo hit 135 before the gas pedal came off the floor. Still had some go left, but Dad figured it was time to slow the Goat down.
There are many more examples of hot cars in the family and we will go into them as the site develops...but I must tell you about a certain car....
A 1969 1/2 Dodge Superbee. This was going to be my first car...until an insurance agent scared my Mom and Step-Dad. The car was put up for sale and my heart was broken. Who knows, it might have saved my life. Could I have handled that potent beast? I thought so at the time, but we will never know now. The Superbee was sold several times and it still sets in a barn yard where the current owner has left it..for the last 24 years! He simply refuses to sell it.
I bet you can't guess what one of my Mopar dreams is?
Hemi? Well sure..but in a 69 Superbee!
Until next time..
